I have tutored elementary, middle, high school, and college-aged students since 2010. I have experience helping students prepare for standardized tests at the high school level, specifically supporting the Regents and AP level exams. In addition, I have supported students as they prepare for the SAT, ACT, GED, TOEFL, SHSAT, and SSAT/ISEE assessments. As a private tutor, I strive to increase each of my student’s self-efficacy and comfort level with academic content, and I approach teaching with the understanding that each student is unique in his or her own way. I tailor my approach when working with each student to provide instruction that fits their individual needs and in a way that makes tutoring effective and enjoyable. I create a customized curriculum for every student.
