I'm currently attending the City University of New York - Berkeley College to earn my bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm looking forward to pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology after I finish my degree. My focus is cognitive and social development of children by way of psychometric approaches and neuroscience. I have years of experience as a teacher, and I'm well versed in cognitive development within children. I'm very aware of the fact that classroom teaching doesn't work very well for a lot of students, so I enjoy tutoring because I can focus on an individual student and the way they learn best. I like to find out what my student's strengths are so that I can build on those to help them develop learning skills they can use now and in the future to be successful.
