I went to Vassar College to earn my bachelor's degree in English, and then I went on to New York University to earn my masters degree in literature. I work for a publishing company, and I love my job. I have a passion for reading, and I get to work with books every single day in my profession. I've been an analyst, copywriter, and editor, and I can help students understand reading and writing as they are used in the real world. As a tutor, I really enjoy sharing my love of language and literature. I teach yoga as well, and I believe that actually helps me in tutoring to stay sharp physically and mentally. I've worked with students of all ages and skill levels from fifth grade through college. My specialties as a tutor include reading comprehension, grammar, reading, writing, the French language, and test preparation. I like to customize my lesson plans for each student and focus on my individual student's needs and learning style to help them achieve success. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, baking, dancing, and reading.
