I enjoy working with young people to help them develop learning skills they can use to be successful in contribute to society. After I graduated from high school, I was enjoying working in architecture and construction management, but the economic collapse in 2008 sent me back to school. I switched gears and earned a bachelor's degree in history and another bachelor's degree in secondary education. I also earned art history and communication minors, graduating cum laude and was elected to several honor societies. I love education, and I love history, and I'm excited to share what I know with others. When one studies history, they also refine their writing and critical reading skills. When I work with students, I encourage them to form their own opinions and think critically about history. I can assist students in world history, art history, US history, government and politics, social studies, special education, business, economics, English, geography, writing, reading, grammar, test preparation, and others. When I have some free time outside of studying, teaching, and tutoring, I enjoy watching films, attending museums, going to the theater, studying art and architecture, going to theme parks to ride roller coasters, visiting national parks, hanging out at the beach, and reading.
