I am a motivated individual with a passion to succeed. In order for one to achieve success in life, I believe that motivation and a desire to learn are needed. For this reason, I want to share these traits with students so that I can help them prepare for excellence out in the world. I like to help my students by encouraging them and giving them the self-esteem needed to play an active role in the classroom. I have high standards for myself and expect the same from my students. For this reason, I help them set challenging goals that can be reached with hard work and dedication. Instead of spoon-feeding answers to my students, I give them the resources needed to come up with their own solution to a problem. As a teacher, my job is to guide them down the right path so that they're able to learn how to apply their knowledge outside of the classroom. Overall, I've been teaching for nearly a decade. Along with tutoring, I've worked as a math teacher in high school and at the college level. When I'm not working in education, I like to spend my time playing sports, watching movies, and traveling abroad.
