Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY

University of California-Berkeley - Bachelors, English , St. John's University - PHD, English

I have 15 years of teaching experience. During that time, I've taught college students, high school students, and middle school students, including in private and public schools. I went to the University of California - Berkeley for my bachelor's degree in English, and then went on to CUNY Brooklyn College for my masters degree in special education. I also have an Anglo - Irish literature master of philosophy degree from Trinity College - Dublin, and finally I earned my doctoral degree in English at St. John's University. I can tutor a wide array of different subjects, including reading, writing, literature, social studies, English grammar, essay writing and editing, composition, public speaking, world religions, art history, and test preparation for the SAT, ACT, GRE, PSAT, ISEE, and other standardized admissions and assessment exams. When I have spare time, I enjoy reading and writing fiction, meditating, visiting museums, exercising, drinking coffee, exploring the city of New York, and more.
