Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY
Harvard University - Bachelors, Classics , Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London - Masters, Advanced Theatre Practice
I graduated from Harvard with a bachelor's degree in classical studies and dramatic arts in 2008. During my time as a student, I studied the language, history, and culture of classical Greece and Rome and was awarded a Segal Fellowship for travel and research. In 2013, I earned a master's degree in advanced theater practice from the University of London, and then I went to create an international theater company with three of my closest colleagues. Throughout my time as a student, I've spent a lot of time teaching and mentoring students in classical studies and other humanities, as well as test prep, English, and history. In addition to working as a performer, I am part of an educational program that teaches visual and performing arts to underprivileged youth in New York City. For me, there's no greater experience than being able to use my interests as a way to help someone succeed. My own time as a student has taught me no education is without its own challenges, and having the help of a dedicated tutor is a great way to make the learning process easy and more enjoyable. When I'm not working in dance and theater, I like to spend my time reading and traveling abroad.
