I believe that learning must be an interactive experience. I strive to keep my pupils as engaged and interested in the material as possible. Some of the best days of my life have been in my English, literature, and composition classrooms. I strive to help my students explore the exciting world of language, writing, and reading. When I am tutoring for test prep, I explain the mechanics and rules of each question, which is something I wish my teachers had done. I am passionate about tutoring for test prep, including the ELA Regents, SAT, SHSAT, PSAT, and more. I have over seven years of experience tutoring in those subjects. I specialize in grammar, vocabulary, writing, and critical reading. Not only do I have experience tutoring, I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education. I earned my degree from Saint Joseph's College, where my best teachers graduated from. This college not only shaped me as a teacher, but it shaped me as a writer. I landed an internship after college that led to a job writing for a Manhattan-based music magazine. Right now I teach English Composition at Saint Joseph's and I am also pursuing my master's in Creative Writing. When I am not studying or tutoring, I can be found reading, painting, and writing.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading, writing, painting and listening to vinyl records. Antique stores are my favorite kind of stores and I frequent them often. I also love to travel. Some of my favorite places include Ireland, Paris and Nashville, TN.
