Hello and thank you for considering me for your one-on-one tutoring needs. As a teaching philosophy, I believe in addressing your individual needs and objectives in order to construct a bespoke and unique approach to ensuring that your goals are achieved in a timeline suitable to your particular situation. Whether you have never touched a multimedia editing program (Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign) and are looking to simply become more adept at creating your own video and image-based content or are already familiar with multimedia as a material and are looking to improve upon skills, or become more experienced at fieldwork of taking better video and photographs - I will work with you to build a plan to meet your desired outcome. I am currently and have served as a faculty member at a world-renowned arts university in New York City. As a filmmaker and artist, I have exhibited films and videos at galleries and festivals worldwide and routinely lecture outside of my university for panels and conferences regarding best practices in film/video practice as well as film and art theory. I work with students of many ages and backgrounds and am very flexible as far as locations for our working together. I am an artist, filmmaker, writer and educator based in New York City. My work has been exhibited at LaMama Galleria, San Francisco Cinematheque, Anthology Film Archives and Ethan Cohen Gallery. I regularly give lectures and speak at conferences and panels in New York State and internationally. Recent lectures and conferences include community courses at the Jefferson Market branch of The New York Public Library, the SPE Northeast Regional Conference and the Project Anywhere Conference (New York, NY).
