I grew up in a household that placed a high emphasis on learning, and carry that same importance and love of learning into my adult life. I am confident that students can do anything they put their minds to. When working with individuals I am tutoring, I place an emphasis on active listening and focusing on areas that could use improvement. I've worked in the tutoring field for three years, usually focusing on helping students improve their writing. I earned my bachelor's degree in Political Science and Math from Moravian College, and a master's degree from Lehigh University, where I studied Public Policy. I can help students improve their grades in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Geometry, Middle School Math, Writing, Essay Editing, Arithmetic, English, College English, and a variety of test prep. This includes the GRE Verbal and Quantitative, SAT Math and Reading, SSAR, ISESE, TACHS, and SHSAT. I'm experienced in taking tests and landed in the 99th percentile for the GRE. When I'm not busy working with students, I love to play guitar and listen to music. I also get outside, and consider myself a serious runner. I love to read as well.
