Experience

I tutor in just about every subject and I can work with students of all ages. Right now I am earning my Master in English. I have been tutoring college peers for four years, but I have also worked with children and young adults. My experience also includes working as a college writing tutor while I was an undergrad. Upon graduation, I continue to tutor, working as a private tutor with fourth-grade girls and middle school boys on social studies, science, math, and English. I am familiar with the Common Core curriculum. My tutoring method is laid back, I make sure my students feel safe and comfortable approaching me with any questions they may have. I also believe in working as a team. Additionally, I have been described as easygoing and patient. When I am not tutoring, you can find me doing yoga, reading, and walking in the park.
