Writing and educating people of all ages are my passions, and I believe that tutoring in these subjects is important for anyone who wants to make progress in their education. I currently work as a writer and tutor, with over a decade of experience focused on reading and writing. I've worked with elementary age students to those in college, and even folks learning English as a second language. I have a bachelor's in Education from SUNY College at Oneonta and a master's in Education from Touro College. I have a concentration in literacy and have experience with special education students. The subjects I'm most knowledgeable in include ESL, Reading, Writing, Literature, English, including Grammar, and Reading and Writing at middle and high school levels. I help students improve their study skills and become organized as they progress through their courses, and also tutor in getting ready for the GED. I'm here to help students of various age levels and backgrounds improve their English and develop a firm understanding of reading and writing, regardless of what obstacles they think they have. In my free time, I love to get outdoors and go biking. I'm also interested in music and love poetry and folk music.
