Experience
I am a freelance blogger, copy editor, educator, and screenwriter living in New York City. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of New Orleans and I have extensive experience studying both storytelling and screenwriting. I have experience in a wide variety of subject areas, including comparative literature, English grammar and syntax, music, literature, guitar, and reading. I am also comfortable helping students prepare for standardized tests, such as the ACT, SAT, PSAT, SAT subject tests, and the LSAT. I am passionate about first-order logic and philosophy, which has also led to me having an interest in the LSAT. The first time I took the LSAT I finished in the 97th percentile. Since that time, I have continued to refine my skills so that I can continue to get even better. My philosophy as a tutor is to focus on teaching students to master seemingly small skills because I understand that those small skills combine together to allow students to really understand the big picture. I am also a big believer in students challenging themselves so that they can expand their knowledge base. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy climbing, hiking, practicing yoga, writing for television, screenwriting, film, and literature.
