I'm a tutor based in New York City, New York, who lives reading, traveling, and playing billiards in my free time. I have my bachelor's degree in mathematics from Allegheny College as well as a certificate in mechanical engineering and industrial design from the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn. I currently work multiple jobs in the field of education and tutoring, which includes me working a widely diverse group of students with respect to their age, grade level, and subject difficulty. My experiences with teaching have led me to develop a deep passion for helping others get the most out of their education. I know how difficult it can be to continually struggle with a given subject. I want to provide students with the guidance they need to move past their struggles, and reach for higher heights. I'm particularly passionate about teaching math, which is a subject that I've always loved dearly. I like to first give my students a thorough explanation of what we'll be doing for the day, and then provide them with targeted practice exercises to help them improve their skills. As a tutor, I don't believe that my job is done until my student improves. I'm excited to help you get the most out of your educational experience.
