I have eight years of tutoring experience through a variety of different organizations, from middle school to second year college. Professional tutor of the SAT, ACT, TACHS, ISEE, SSAT, and GED among other standardized tests, as well as a professional tutor of college level research writing, college entrance requirements, high school writing standards, reading comprehension, and middle school reading, writing, and social studies. I have a strong academic and professional background in English and American literature, the standard conventions of English grammar, technical and research writing, Psychology, the social sciences, and music. Hobbies

I have always been an avid reader and writer and this has impacted my hobbies. For years I have been a writer and performer of poetry and fiction, competing (and occasionally winning) anthology and spoken work contests. I am also a musician and have been all of my life. As a cellist with my orchestra group, I have performed at Carnegie Hall, participated in choirs and ensemble groups, and have touched on digital music production.
