Experience

I have tutored university and high school students in subjects such as Creative Writing, Poetry, Literature, Philosophy of Art, Travel Writing, Geography, Reading Comprehension, SAT prep, and personal essays. I have taught middle school students at Guidepost Montessori in San Francisco and 32nd Street Arts Magnet School in Los Angeles. I have studied teaching pedagogy at Harvard University. My biggest inspirations for my own teaching are the teachers I have loved best –– people who inspire me to work hard, think deeply, and who genuinely believe that no question is a stupid question. I love writing, music, running, film, music and the arts in general as well as urban planning and architecture. Very open and understanding. Vast experience and love for helping students with essays, assisting them in thinking deeper and writing more clearly and creatively. I am a poet for a living, and write about memory, urban space, psychogeography and human geography.
