Experience
I work with middle and high school students on building good writing skills and mastering history courses. I've worked as an editor and writer in several capacities, from working on my own undergraduate thesis in American Studies at Yale University, to serving as the editor-in-chief Yale's school paper, The Bullblog, to working for the past two years as an Exhibit Content and Media Coordinator for the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. All of these experiences helped me develop a passion for creative and essay writing, which I want to share with my students. I am lucky enough to have a range of experiences as an educator, as well. I taught Hebrew and Judaic studies to kindergarten through middle school students at the Hillel Children's School. I have also worked with middle and high school students to teach them about the U.S. government as a tour guide and content producer for the Senate Immersion Module program. I focus on developing strong writing skills, literature analysis, grammar and mechanics, college essays, comparative government, public speaking, history, organization and study skills, and preparation for advanced placement classes. Outside of tutoring and teaching, I love to read, and I stay fit by cycling and hiking.
