I am a first generation student, and I am very appreciative of the opportunity to pursue an education. I am extremely enthusiastic about being able to give back to the educational process that has offered me so much by tutoring. I am excited to help students who are struggling master formerly challenging concepts. I graduated from St. John's University with a bachelor's degree in Biology. I have worked extensively as a tutor since graduation. My time working as a tutor was spent working at a teaching center, helping students ranging from first graders to high school students. I not only taught one-on-one sessions, but also in classroom settings. One-on-one sessions were tailored toward each student, and I also experienced enormous success in implementing a system that tracked the progress of students to allow me to adapt the teaching process accordingly. Although I am more than qualified to teach a wide range of subjects, my specialties are definitely Anatomy and Biological Sciences. I can also tutor Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Ecology, and Algebra. I am currently in the process of obtaining a Physician Assistant degree. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, cooking, and cycling.
