Experience
I have moved around a great deal, which provides me with a unique perspective. I attended school in Manhattan before moving to a rural area of Vermont where I lived on a farm. I went to Middlebury College, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in French. My diverse background and education has provided me with extensive knowledge on many different subjects. I have a great deal of tutoring experience as well. I worked as a Geometry tutor with Red Cedar Middle School. I was also employed through Aloha Hive, counseling students and assisting with activities at summer camp. I have three siblings, so I am experienced with children and enjoy working with them to help them understand a difficult subject. When it comes to tutoring, I offer my expertise in a wide variety of subjects. I most enjoy tutoring Economics and French, as these are my chosen fields of study, but I also offer Math tutoring, ranging from Elementary Math to Calculus. I especially enjoy working on Elementary Math with the younger students, although I have also worked with adults who required language study skills. Art, Handwriting, Study Skills, English, and Vocabulary are other subjects I can tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing and playing tennis.
