Experience
I graduated from Columbia College of Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, focus on English. Throughout my whole life, I had the opportunity to write and edit various pieces, including the summary on the back of a published book's cover, content for a musician's newsletter, and screenplays. I have a high appreciation for language and favor tutoring/teaching English, Literature, Writing, SAT Verbal Prep, and Music Theory. I have a successful background tutoring these topics. Teaching music production, piano, and giving DJ lessons are also skills that I am confident to tutor, with previous experience to reference. My teaching approach is to make a connection with each student, sharing the passion that I have and passing it on to my pupils. I believe that this offers a more engaging experience. I mix several strategies in order for the student to have a well-rounded comprehension of the material. When I have time outside of tutoring and teaching, I like to deejay and make music, work on writing my own pieces, read, run, and explore NYC.
