I have a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California. I am currently living in New York while I work toward my J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law.I have a passion for tutoring and a motivation to use education to open doors for my students to allow them to be the best that they can be. Tutoring began to be a very important aspect of my life while I was working toward my bachelor's degree. During that time, I worked with students at urban Los Angeles elementary and middle schools in literacy and math. I have strong critical writing and reading skills due to my academic career in law, and feel very comfortable working with students in those areas. I've also worked with students to prepare them for the No Child Left Behind Act. I have experience with helping students and peers on improving their writing skills, and can help students preparing for the LSAT, PSAT, and SAT.When I am not tutoring, I enjoy reading, traveling, and trying new foods.
