Experience
I'm a graduate of Yale University with a B.A. degree in Anthropology and Archaeology. After graduation, I worked at Harvard University in educational publications, then spent some time as a traveling archaeologist. Here in the city, I was a National Science Foundation Fellow working with area high school students, and more recently, I have taught college anthropology. At the present time, I am in graduate school working towards a doctorate in Archaeology at CUNY. I enjoy tutoring various subjects, which include Science, English, and Social Studies, as well as Writing, Algebra, and Geometry. I am also available to help with test preparations for the ACT, SAT, GRE, and PSAT, and assisting in the area of study skills and organization. I enjoy helping students set goals for themselves, and I approach the material in small sections so that it is easier for students to understand. In my free time, I like to be creative in the kitchen, sew, watch horror flicks, and work on projects around my home.
