Experience

I am a first-year graduate student at New York University (NYU) and am working on a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College, which is also where I began tutoring my fellow students in Biology and Chemistry. In addition to Biology and Chemistry, I now tutor students in Anatomy, Physiology, and the best practices for the ACT. (Biology is still my favorite, to be honest, and I absolutely love tutoring high school and college students in Bio!)Because I am a student myself -- and because I received help from a tutor when I was in high school -- I know just how important it is for students to have a dedicated study regimen and to have a tutor they can count on. I also know that any student can understand even the most complicated concept, when they have a reliable tutor. I find that breaking down complicated, abstract concepts into simpler examples that students face in their daily lives, is a great way to teach these subjects.Of course, school isn't my only activity! I love reading, I've been an active swimmer for many years, and I'm currently training for my first triathlon.
