Experience
I am a graduate of the University of Arizona, where I majored in both math and physics. I began tutoring students during my undergraduate education. I have now been working as a tutor in physics and math for the last five years, and have found it to be very rewarding.I have realized that the best way to get difficult information through to my students is to explain each topic thoroughly, and then show examples to support each topic's concepts. Because high school students today face a very demanding timeline when learning, it is extremely important for students to master science and math concepts. My goal is to help the students I work with to appreciate math and physics, as well as to give them an interest in the topics so they are inspired to learn more about them. Some of the topics that I focus on include algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, and statistics.Besides teaching and tutoring, my other passion is volleyball. I played volleyball in high school, and my team won the state championship three times. I continued to play volleyball for the Wildcats at the University of Arizona. Aside from volleyball, I enjoy photography and cooking.
