Experience

I have spent a lot of time teaching in the past. I have counseled at summer camp, was an assistant teacher in college, and I tutored some college classes. I also taught dance. I feel that these experiences have shown me how to best help students with whatever course they are trying to master. My academic background has been ample preparation for teaching most subjects, but I really feel that I try to make learning fun. I also try to make the lessons relate to the student's individual experiences so that it becomes easier to remember and master. I am available to tutor in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Elementary Math, or Middle School Math, as well as in Biology, Chemistry, and Microbiology. I can also help with preparations for the SAT exams, and with English or ESL. I attended New York University and Yale University. In my free time I enjoy dancing and reading.
