Experience

I have tutoring experience within an establishment entitled, Association to Benefit Children (ABC)in Echo Park. I do not have my SAT scores at the present moment. I would like to be a tutor because I would love to encourage students to believe that can make a difference in this world. I would like to build self-esteem and confidence in the hopes that it will motivate students to achieve their goals and aspirations. I have taken courses in Leadership Skills, Foundations in Human Services, Case Management as well as Psychology in Personalities and Family and Community Systems. I am a certified Breast Cancer Peer Educator, granted by the Maurer Foundation. I am an adovacte for mental illness and awareness with a chapter known as Active Minds.

I love to particpate in volunteer work such as Midnight Runs with Habitat for Humanities, in which we make efforts to feed the homeless. I also was a Dance Instructor for 3 years. I have worked as a dance teacher in PS/IS 181 John Steptoe School. I have a passion for dance, art and new innovate ways of making a difference in communitites.
