I hold a NYS teacher certification as a Biology teacher for grades 7-12. I have classroom experience as a Teachers Assistant in sixth grade, and as a student teacher in the 6th, 7th, 9th, and 10th grades. I have a strong background in the sciences because as a Bio major I have taken courses in Biology and Chemistry and courses related to Earth Science. I have been successfully tutoring students in grades 6-12 for over 5 years. Subjects I've tutored include the Sciences, History/Social Studies, and Reading/Language Arts. Among my success stories is a 10th grade ELL student whose grades went from failing to the 90s. She received a 94 on her Earth Science Regents.
