Experience-I served as a Teacher's Assistant (T.A) for a college level World Civilizations (history) course for 3 consecutive semesters.
-I acquired a 1 year position as a Teacher's Assistant (T.A.) for an academic survival techniques course at my university which provided struggling students with the appropriate resources to improve their GPA and overall career knowledge.
-I was an Academic Coach (A.C.) who sought to teach students better time management, scheduling, and organizational skills.
-I provided over 100 college students with tutoring in the subject areas of: English, history, political science, and philosophy at the UB Academic Resource Center for the past 2.5 years.
-I am a nationally certified Level III Advanced CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) Tutor.
-I have attended over 25 hours of UB Life & Learning Workshops which tackled issues such as: tutoring people with disabilities, tutoring groups of over 10 students, and stress management during finals week.
-I have conducted several workshops for both tutors and fellow students on the importance of PowerPoint presentations and tutor efficiency.

HobbiesI enjoy a large variety of things from the everyday hobby of reading satires and non-fiction novels, all the way to the occasional adventurous activities such as horseback riding and skydiving. I also like to travel both cross-country and abroad. I am fond of meeting and conversing with all types of people under the sun, no matter how different they may be from myself.
