Charmenese W.

Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY

Education

Senior Forensic Psychology major at John Jay College with a 3.9 GPA.

Experience

I tutored in High school (NYC Lab school) in Biology, Mathematics, and Spanish. I enjoy helping others and molding the minds of the future generation. I find nothing more rewarding than using my current knowledge to help someone else succeed. I too believe that no child should be left behind. With expanding class sizes in schools, students do need additional help in areas they struggle in. My mother is a grade one teacher and I assist her sometimes with her classes as a volunteer. Having gone through high school, I know the challenges students are faced with. Having a positive role model in addition to an educational mentor is an essential part of their success. I am a very meticulous student. I scored a '100' on my math seguential 3 regents, a '99' on seguential 2, and '97' on my sequential 1 math regents. On my chemistry regents, I scored a '96.' I am not a fan of memorization. Therefore, I teach students that understanding their subject material is crucial in passing a course and learning.
