Education
I obtained an M. A. in Ancient Judaism from the Graduate School of the Jewish Theological Seminary in NY, NY in May, 2011. Before that, I graduated Magna cum Laude from the Religion department of Barnard College, Columbia University in NY, NY in May 2009. I also received departmental honors and distinction on the senior requirement, for which I got a prize for outstanding work in the field of the origins of Christianity. I won a fellowship to support my graduate studies. I am currently enrolled in an M. A. in Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Experience
I am a first grade teacher at a private school on the Upper West Side. Previously, I did a year of public service for AmeriCorps. Prior to that, I served as the private tutor for a Spence high school student in English and History with a focus on reading, writing, and study skills. I also have experience providing homework help for children ages 8-12. I volunteered my time as a tutor with New York Cares in its Sophomore Skills program.

Hobbies
